b) The bead is designed to air-lock the tire-rim assembly and grasp the tire on to the rim.
c) When a tire is externally penetrated by an object, the inner liner grips the object to prevent the loss of pressure
NOTICE: Never interchange a tubeless tire with a tube tire, and vice-versa because components of each type of tire are designed to function differently from each other.
Never bicycle against the direction of traffic
Do not fail to yield, as bicycle accidents generally occur at intersections.
Do not jump stop signs or red lights.
Never ride at night without reflective clothing or gear
Do not weave in and out of riding lanes
Avoid ‘hugging’ the curb
Never ride on sidewalks
Avoid motor vehicle blind spots
Do not be distracted while riding
Wear reflective clothing. It makes you more visible to other road users at night.
Use safety gear, especially a helmet
The law requires you to have a white front light visible from 500 feet away, red rear light or reflector, and pedal or wheel reflectors. For extra visibility, add one or more red rear lights to your bike.
Remain on high alert while riding in the night to notice upcoming hazards early.
Do not ride close to parked cars to avoid getting hit by carelessly opened doors.
